At Precision Thermal Processing we offer blasting consistent with the products we heat treat. This includes both tumble and belt blasting as described in fuller detail below.
Cosmetic Blasting – Belt Blast
This is specialized cleaning where parts are hand loaded onto a mesh belt for transport through a blasting process. Then parts are hand-packed for return shipment to the customer. This process uses a less aggressive blast media to remove minor surface contaminants in order to improve cosmetic appearance.

- Post Heat Treated Components
Tumble Blast
This is our standard cleaning process where parts are bulk loaded into blast cleaning equipment and then tumbled to remove scale and rust from the heat treated part. Our blast equipment can quickly and efficiently clean parts up to 100 lbs.
Typical parts include:
- Castings
- Forgings
- Rough Machined Components

Our blast equipment can accommodate parts up to 24 inches in width, 18 inches in height and 100 pounds.
